Halloween 2011

Anybody who knows me quickly learns that I LOVE Halloween. I think it was back in May when I began to think about my costume. This year I was an Alien Super Hero. What made my costume "alien" were antennae that sprouted from the top of my head. You will not see antennae in any blog pictures, because my mom and dad laughed when I first put them on. Super Heroes are not meant to be laughed at! So, no antennae this year.My spooky pumpkin.

Wausau Weekend

Yeah Groupon! If you have a Groupon to a waterpark, you better use it before it expires. We were faced with this problem in October. Mommy said we better use it or we'll lose it. So we piled in the car and drove 2-3/4 hours straight north to the "Lodge at Cedar Creek Waterpark" in Wausau.It was a nice sized waterpark and for the most part not too crowded.
We even remembered my swim goggles. I can't tell you how many times we've gone to a pool and forget my swim goggles.
The coolest water slide by far was the toilet bowl. If you look very closely you might be able to see me and mommy being flushed!
On Sunday it was time to return home, but since it was such a beautiful Fall day we decided to check out Rib Mountain State Park. It overlooks the city of Wausau.
We went on a hike. We had fun trying to catch falling leaves from the trees. Catching leaves is hard.

I watch a lot of Bear Grylls survival shows, so I know exactly how to safely lead my family through a forest.

Treinen Farm

Our goal on this beautiful Sunday afternoon was to conquer the largest corn maze in Wisconsin. Actually, we had two goals, the other was to find some nice, big pumpkins. The location was Treinen Farm outside of Lodi, Wisconsin.

Every year they create a different maze based on characters from Greek Mythology.
Before diving into the giant maze, we did a practice run through the children's maze. It was way too easy.
We were given one tiny piece of the map maze. We needed six total pieces to complete the map. Our objective was to find a mailbox in each map section. When we found a mailbox, it would reveal a new map section. Slowly, we would complete the map and find our way out of the maze.
I found the first mailbox! We are almost through the maze. We just have to find one more section.
After we successfully found our way out of the corn maze, it was time to find a pumpkin. I wonder if you could make a maze out of pumpkins?
