My Peeps

One of the best parts of any weekend at uncle Gordie's cabin is playing with my friends. This year I made two new friends Marta (6) and Mason (5). We had a lot of fun together.

I can't forget about my old friend Morgan. We go way back to last year when we walked down the aisle at uncle Gordie and aunt Tammy's wedding. Our birthdays are only one week apart.

Looking for fish.

Here I'm filling the "live well" with water. I wouldn't want the fish inside to get thirsty.

My fun weekend is almost over. I'm taking it all in one last time.

4th of July -- Siren, Wisconsin

My goal for this 4th of July is to collect as many Tootsie Rolls as possible.

It didn't look good at first. There were many big kids that were really fast, but to my surprise they started collecting candy for me!

Here I'm taking a break after taking a lollipop to the noggin. I wasn't hurt, but everybody thought it was pretty funny.

Pizza Train

Spooner, Wisconsin offered me the opportunity to ride on my very first Pizza Train! Can it get any better than combining trains with pizza?

I wonder what train I'll ride on next? I've been on a Pumpkin Train, Santa Train, Pineapple Train and now Pizza Train. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.

Fishing with Uncle Gordie

Today, I'm going fishing with uncle Gordie on Big Sand Lake near Siren, Wisconsin.

I never pass up a chance to ham it up in front of the camera.

I got to drive the pontoon boat. The motor was a little loud for my liking, but I got used to it. It's still 100% better than the paddle boat.

Fishing with Morgan's fishing pole. The fish were not biting. I think I might need to bait the hook.

I'm not going to give up on the chance to catch a big Bass.

Uncle Gordie had no trouble catching fish. I would grab a worm out of the container for uncle Gordie and he would put it on his hook and catch a fish almost immediately. He would then take the fish off the hook so I could touch it. He would then release it, so we could catch the fish again.

Help! I'm running out of material. Okay, not really. What made this slide extra fun was I could finally go fast. It was an old time metal slide! It was not the painfully slow plastic slides that are in most parks that static electrocute me every trip down.
