EAA AirVenture Museum

A couple weeks before Thanksgiving we decided to do an overnight trip to Oshkosh. I know you're thinking "wow, that sounds exciting!". It actually turned out to be a fun mini-trip. We stayed at a hotel that had a swimming pool and a hot tub, but what was really fun was visiting the EAA AirVenture Museum.

The museum seemed to have every kind of plane ever made. The planes were displayed in a myriad of crazy positions.



The museum had a lot of displays, games and simulators for kids.

We visited on a Sunday morning and at times we may have been the only visitors in the giant museum. Long lines were definitely not an issue. We were the "lines".

The highlight of the museum was the aircraft simulator ride. However, we had the choice between an airplane ride or a roller coaster ride. I chose the roller coaster.
