Ljubljana, Slovenia

Ljubljana, Slovenia is a beautiful "college town" roughly the size of Madison, Wisconsin.

Ljubljana castle overlooks the city.

Standing on the famous "Triple Bridge" which straddles the Ljubljanica River.

Ljubljana has beautiful baroque architecture and definitely has a Venetian influence. 

Ljubljana has a great, youthful energy.  Lots of outdoor cafes to "people watch".

We took a funicular (mountain side railway) up to the castle.

The dragon is the symbol of the city.  You see dragons everywhere.
